Q&A with Carrie

What are the top three things on your bucket list?
Write a book; become a mom; own my own business.

What would your friends be surprised to know about you?
I eat chips. (I’m a health nut most of the time, but not all of the time!)

If you could have been born in another country, what country would it be?
Australia. I’m a beach girl and would’ve loved to grow up on the beach surfing, tanning, fishing, swimming, etc.

Who was your favorite musical artist when you were in the 5th grade?
Definitely Hanson! I was convinced I was marrying the youngest of the brothers.

What is the craziest thing your parents did to embarrass you growing up?
My Dad would dance, clap, sing and make up silly rhymes for all of my friends and teammates at every sporting event, party, etc. that I had. It was so embarrassing then, but looking back on it, I love it.

What is your dream job, other than being a member of the Storm Squad?
Being the personal trainer and nutritionist for a hot celebrity, preferably Channing Tatum.

What is the strangest thing in your refrigerator right now?
Kale. I don’t like it but it’s the perfect ingredient for my morning green smoothies.

Would you rather be a princess or a rock star?
A rock star because they get to dance all the time. Although, I like the tiara that a princess gets to wear.

What is your least favorite subject that you studied in school?
English. But now I’m a writer, so it doesn’t really make sense!

What is the most memorable sporting event that you’ve attended?
I’m a huge O’s fan so it would have to be when Cal Ripken broke his record at Camden Yards.

What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you as a member of the Storm Squad?
I went to give a tattoo to a little girl and said, “Would you like a Canes sticker baby girl?” And the dad responds, “She’s a boy.” Ha! There was no recovering from that.

If you could be anyone’s personal assistant for a day, who would it be?
Giuliana Rancic. If you know me, you know my obsession with G. This would be a dream come true.

If you could travel to any point in time, where would you go and why?
The 80’s so I could poof my hair, wear tight leather pants and jam out to Bon Jovi every night.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
To be able to snap my fingers and have my Starbucks or Ben and Jerry’s hand-delivered to my bedroom. I’ve dreamed about this A LOT.

What is the first thing you would do if you won the lottery?
Pay off all of my shopping credit cards. I have a slight shopping addiction/ And then I would pay off my mom's ... the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Besides food and water, what three things would you take with you to a desert island?
Running shoes, iPod and my doggie.

Do you have any nicknames?
Carebear and CJ.

What is one thing you can’t live without?
Music. It has the ability to lift me up no matter what mood I’m in.

What song best describes you?
This is a hard one. I love "Pretty Girl Rock" by Keri Hilson just because of how it starts: “My name is Keri [CARRIE], I’m so very fly, oh my, it’s a little bit scary.” Oh yeah!

Guiliana Rancic, Kelly Ripa and Brooke Burke – three fun, fit, successful and inspirational ladies

"Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts. Makes you want to put the windows down, hands in the air and sing at the top of your lungs – or at least it does for me!
