What are the top three things on your bucket list?
I would love to go on a gondola ride in Venice, go to Tahiti or Fiji to stay in one of those overwater bungalows and I'd love to have dinner on a hotel balcony that has a view of the Eiffel Tower.

What would your friends be surprised to know about you?
Probably that I’m scared of heights. I never have been. It is a new thing I’m getting used to and it is coming on fast!

What is the wallpaper on your cell phone?
A picture of my labradoodle, Bodie. I usually switch out pictures of him since he is pretty much the subject of all my iPhone gallery pictures.

Where is your favorite hangout in Raleigh?
I really enjoy the North Hills area because I love food, and they’ve got some great restaurants. I love Mura, Vivace and they even fulfill my favorite hamburgers with Five Guys.

If you could have been born in another country, what country would you have liked to have grown up in?
Greece would have been nice to grow up in. I studied abroad there and got to experience their culture first hand. They have such a great way of life that isn’t centered on work – more around their culture and family life. They literally close businesses in the middle of the day so that people can rest and enjoy the day!

Who was your favorite musical artist when you were in the 5th grade?
I really loved Hootie and the Blowfish (still love Darius Rucker), Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey.

What is the craziest thing your parents did to embarrass you growing up?
My dad showed up when I was in 5th grade to bring me balloons at school during lunch for my birthday. He didn’t know that the ENTIRE cafeteria had been assigned “silent lunch” for “bad behavior” so when he walked in no one was saying a word. He had to walk over to me, and I wouldn’t talk to him because I thought I would get in trouble. I remember the vice principal and teachers being so embarrassed as well and they let us go eat lunch in my classroom. It was super sweet, and we still laugh about it to this day - but the worst timing!

When did you go to your first NHL hockey game?
I went to my first NHL game when the Canes came to Raleigh. I remember not knowing any of the rules and wondering how they could skate so fast. I’m glad I know them now!

Which celebrity do people most often say you resemble?
I wish they would say Jennifer Love Hewitt. I think she is so beautiful and I love her whole “girl next door” ensemble.

What is your dream job, other than being a member of the Storm Squad?
I always wanted to be the Business Manager of the LA Lakers. I quickly realized I wasn’t going to get anywhere close to that unless I bore the “Buss” name. Now that I’ve grown up a little, I realize that I am really into event planning. Kim and I share a love for planning and decorating for parties and weddings, and I can really see this hobby developing into a side job in the future.

What is the strangest thing in your refrigerator right now?
Um... tofu or yam noodles. Are those strange? They come from Grand Asia Market so I’m sure not everyone has them in their refrigerator. They are so delicious for making noodle soups – and extremely healthy!

If you could write a mission statement for your life, what would it say?
Be true. Be you. Put love in what you do.

Would you rather be a princess or a rock star?
Easy. A princess all the way. I love Kate Middleton and think she is so fabulous. I would love to be like her.

Where are you from?
Born and bred in Raleigh, NC!

What is your least favorite subject that you studied in school?
Geometry and Calculus. I loved all other math courses but these were just awful to me. If someone can show me how I use geometric proofs or calculus derivatives in my life now I will retract my comment.

Where is your favorite place to shop?
I love, love, love the Dollar Store. I love planning parties, and this is the best place to shop on a budget if you’re a big entertaining girl like I am. I’m also a big fan of HomeGoods, World Market, ZGallerie and Pier 1.

What is the most memorable sporting event that you’ve attended?
I would have to say Andre Agassi’s last match at the US Open. It was so amazing to be there as he did his final kiss and bow exit, and he gave the most heartfelt speech. It was just great to see a legend like him play before he retired. I’ll never forget that moment my family got to share.

Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?
Kobe Bryant! I love him, and he is one of my favorite athletes. And I think it is so awesome that he is fluent in Italian.

If you were in the Miss America contest, what would your special talent be?
Probably playing a song on glasses filled with water like Sandra Bullock.

If you could travel to any point in time, where would you go and why?
Well, I sure hope I get to do this in a Deloreon going 88 mph. I would want to travel to the 1940s and 1950s. It would be so fun to see such a simplistic lifestyle and be able to see what life was like when my parents were growing up.
